Virginia L. Korszniak, 72, died August 1, 2012 in her Perkiomenville home. She was the wife of Peter R. Korszniak. Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Myrtle (Schwager) Frederick. She was the Nursing Supervisor for Montgomery County Geriatric and Rehab Center in Royersford until retiring in 1991. Virginia was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church in New Berlinville.

With her husband, she is survived by her son, Richard G. Cassey, Jr and his wife Linda of Trooper; daughter, Faith D., wife of Robert Schlegel of Douglassville; stepdaughters: Deborah Judson, wife of Rick Schell of Eustis, FL and Dianne, wife of Roy Francis of Casselberry, FL; stepson, Peter L. Korszniak and his wife Gail of Red Hill; his siblings: Betty Smith of Oaks, Shirley Young of Pottstown and Raymond Frederick and his wife Karen of Apache Junction, AZ; grandchildren: Bryan Cassey (Jessica), Diana Williams (Benjamin), Nicole Cassey, Stephen Campbell; stepgrandchildren: Tyler Getman, Vanessa Schlegel, Christina Schlegel. Virginia was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Cassey and siblings Lillian Brown, Francis and Henry Frederick.

Services will be 11am, Tuesday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 611 Swamp Creek Road, New Berlinville PA 19545. All are invited to call at the church from 9:30-11am.
