Obituary for Doris Sue Lesher (Diehl)

Doris Sue Lesher, 94, of Palm, passed away October 27, 2017, one day short of her 95th birthday. She was the widow of Woodrow D. Lesher. Born in Macungie, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Maryann (Hoch) Diehl. Doris and her husband owned & operated the former Lesher’s TV Sales & Service in Palm for over 30 years before retiring in 1983. Earlier in life, she worked at the Zionsville pants factory. She was a member of Huffs Union Church, Alburtis, where she had taught Sunday School and was a former member of the Choir, and the Ladies Aid Society. She was also a former member of the Dutch Country Players and the Huffs Church Fersommeling.
Surviving is a son, Ron, of Palm; a granddaughter, Nancy, wife of Matthew Stone, of Allentown; a brother, Marvin Diehl, of Trexlertown; great-granddaughters: Rosalie and Adalynn and many beloved nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings: John, Webster, Ethel, Leola, Lloyd, Dale, Sarann, Mae, Tessie, and Lorraine.
Graveside services will be at 11 AM on Wednesday at Huffs Union Cemetery, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
