Obituary for Ruth Naomi Mutter (Endy)
Ruth Naomi Mutter, 85, of Bechtelsville, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2018. She was the widow of George N. Mutter. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Adeline (Dahms) Endy. Ruth was employed at the former Osans Manufacturing, Boyertown for 29 years before retiring in 1998. She also worked at the Weidner’s Deli at Zern’s Market for over 17 years. Earlier in life, she was employed at numerous places. She was a lifelong member of St. John-Hill United Church of Christ, Boyertown where she was active in the Lady’s Guild. She was also a member of the Bechtelsville Fire Company Auxiliary. She was an avid craft maker. She especially enjoyed ceramics, scrapbooking, and floral arranging.
Surviving are children: Ricky Mutter and his wife, Linda; Douglas Mutter, and his wife, Barbara; David Mutter; and Cynthia Stott, all of Bechtelsville; George Mutter, of Boyertown; and Karen, wife of Anthony Nimmerichter, of Reading; siblings: Leon Endy, and his wife, Margaret, of Frederick Living; and Cynthia Eschbach, of Bechtelsville; grandchildren: Brian, Kelly, Brad, RuthAnn, Cassey, Joshua, Zachary, Toni Ann, and Christopher; and her great-grandchildren: Michael, Ciarra, Evee, Benjamin, George, Kaylee and Magnolia. She was pre-deceased by brothers: Donald, Douglas, Merle, and Lawrence.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday at 11AM at St John-Hill UCC, 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown. A viewing will be from 9-11AM on Thursday at church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Falk Funeral Home, Pennsburg is in charge of arrangements.
