Obituary for Mildred Marie Genszler (Styer)

Mildred M. Genszler, 99, of Frederick Living, and formerly of East Greenville, passed away September 21, 2018. She was the widow of Linwood H. Genszler. Born in Red Hill, she was a daughter of the late Russell Styer and the late Edna (Faut) Styer Roth. Mildred was a secretary for the former Rosenau Brothers in Red Hill. In 1954, she became an “Avon lady”, eventually rising to a District Sales Manager for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill where she was a former Sunday School teacher, church organist and member of the WELCA women’s group. She was also a member of the Perkiomen Chapter, #318, Order of the Eastern Star and the Upper Perkiomen Business & Professional Women.
Surviving are children: Rev Dr. David A. Genszler of Philadelphia; Richard T. Genszler, and his wife Donna Galm, of Pittsburgh; and Mary, wife of Terry Stoudt, of Red Hill; grandchildren: Andrew, Mark, John, Travis, and Kristin; and great-grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Benjamin, Ashton, Nathaniel, Brooke, and William. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Harold, Earl, Donald, Carl, Elmer, and Anna.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill. A viewing will be from 9:30 AM until services at the church.
