Non-Licensed Staff

These members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm.  These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.


Nancy Wilhelm, Office Manager, Pennsburg

Nancy has been at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2010. She came to us when her youngest son was ready to start preschool. Before Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory she worked at The Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Nancy served four years in the Navy where she met her husband, Chris who was serving in the Marine Corps. They moved to her husband's roots in the Bally area after her husband's enlistment from the Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC as a Drill Instructor in 2002. They have one daughter and two sons and enjoy spending their free time with them.

Mary Therese Yost, Receptionist, Hellertown

Mary was born and raised in Allentown. She married Bob, who was serving in the Army and after his enlistment they built a home in Upper Saucon Township and have been there for 50 years.

She has been with the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory since 2004. She started in the Pennsburg office and moved to the Hellertown location in 2007. Before that she retired from Service Electric TV-2 Studios and the television industry after 28 years of service. She is still active as a Travel Consultant and has been for over 20 years.

Mary & Bob are very proud of their family. They have two sons: Rob and his wife Christy, and Tom and his wife Lynn; and their grandchildren Christopher and his wife Michelle, Lauren and her husband Timothy and Ryan.

Mary is a member of Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville. Mary enjoys traveling and experiencing the different cultures throughout the world. She enjoys spending quality time outdoors with nature (especially with her grandchildren), be it hiking, fishing or stargazing. She likes quiet time, reading, listening to music & yoga.

Cheryl Christman, Receptionist, Hellertown

Cheryl has been with Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory for close to 2 years now. She has lived in the Hellertown area her whole life. She graduated from Saucon Valley High School and Bloomsburg University. She was a Trainer for Pennsylvania CareerLink Lehigh Valley before working here.

She is happily married, she has a son and a daughter which are both grown and will soon she will be a Grandparent. In her spare time she enjoys singing, quilting, crafting, cooking, teaching and volunteering.

Harry Krammes, Funeral Assistant

Harry began working for the Falk Funeral Home in 1970. He spent his career teaching science and as a school administrator in the Saucon Valley School District. In addition to graduating from Penn State University, he holds masters degrees from Temple University and Lehigh University.

Harry and his wife Constance reside in Hellertown. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. In addition to enjoying retirement and family, he looks forward to travel, playing golf, and loves to fish for trout.

Robert Kern, Funeral Assistant

Bob “Kernie” has lived in the area since 1936, and on Peevy Road since 1963. He served our country honorably in the Army and married his wife, Lucy. They have one son and three grandsons. They are members of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Pennsburg.
He has been with Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory since 1993. Before that he worked at Honeywell for 13 years, Mack Truck for 15 years and Merck for 10 years.
Kernie is very active in the Upper Perk Lion’s Club. When he’s not working he’s keeping up with Lucy, doing yard work and volunteering at the church. He enjoys watching the Phillies, Eagles and all Upper Perk Sports.

Lester Kemp, In Memoriam

March 5, 1935 ~ October 24, 2015

Lester “Les”, as he was fondly called was born and raised in Landis Store. He lived in the Upper Perk area all his life. After high school he served in the US Army, one year being in Korea.

He worked for Falk Funeral Homes for 15 years. Before coming to Falk’s he was a salesman for 30 years at Drug Plastics & Glass, retiring in 2000.

After the service, Les married his wife of 53 years, Tina. They have two sons: Michael and Timothy, a daughter: Angela and four grandchildren: Amanda, Betsy, Allie & Adam.
He is a member of St. Philip Neri Parish where he and his wife are serving as Extraordinary Ministers. His favorite past time was lawn care, gardening and traveling.

Lester will forever be in hearts and part of the Falk Funeral Home Family.
