Obituary for Joseph Denis Kelly
Joseph Kelly, age 76, died peacefully on November 2, 2016 in his Lower Saucon Township home. Raised in Newark, NJ, he graduated from St. Michaels and Seton Hall University. He retired as Director of Operations for the Royal Insurance Co of New York. Earlier in his career he was employed by Colonial Life Insurance Co of East Orange, NJ. He served in the Army and was stationed in Korea. Joe was an avid reader and sports fan. He especially loved football and the NY Giants.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Barbara, sister Susan, wife of Neil McDevitt of Warrington, and a brother James of Florida. He was predeceased by a twin sister, Ann Marie.
Services: a gathering of family and friends to remember and celebrate his life will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 10am to 12pm at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joe’s memory to Animals in Distress, PO Box 609, Coopersburg, PA 18036. To offer online condolences to the family visit his “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
